Geotechnical consulting services offered by TRI/CON include reconnaissance studies, geotechnical and geologic feasibility and site selection evaluations, final geotechnical design development, assistance in agency review process, and geotechnical construction observation and testing.

Included within the range of geotechnical services:

• Evaluation of the engineering properties of soil and rock materials

• Assessment of geologic hazards resulting from landsliding, faulting risk, ground rupture, and soil liquefaction

• Development of geotechnical design of foundation systems including, where applicable, design alternatives

• Geotechnical recommendations for site grading, retaining structures, pavements, slab-on-grade, construction excavations, and permanent cut and fill slopes

• Observation and testing during construction to confirm compliance with geotechnical design requirements
